Feed & First Aid
FEED– We feed stray animals, including Rescue, and Save A Stray Animal. Our organization provides meals, and some also offer medical aid and rehabilitation services for stray Animals. When feeding stray animals, provide safe, nutritious food like plain rice, boiled vegetables, or dog food mixed with boiled vegetables. Cow cattle feed special cows and buffalo’s balanced diet should include high-quality forages like hay, silage, or fresh grass, and a concentrate mixture for energy and protein. For lactating cows, a mix of cereal grains, always Avoid spicy, salty, or sugary foods, as well as common human foods, which are harmful. Always provide a bowl of clean, fresh normal water, and clean up the feeding area after the animals have finished eating.
First Aid
We have a certified first aid team for a stray animal, we always maintain prioritize safety and assess the ABCs:
- Airway (clear it of obstructions),
- Breathing (check for distress), and
- Circulation (check gum colour for cap-fill time).
Treat bleeding by applying pressure with a clean cloth. Clean minor wounds with soap and water or run cool water over minor burns for five minutes before covering. If the animal is weak, keep it warm with a blanket; if it’s too hot, place it in a cool, shaded area and apply cold compresses or water. Always seek professional veterinary help as soon as possible, and then we contact local animal welfare contact to inform them and reach their needy animal.
