‘Project VIKAAS; The project is three years old, was started in 2019 in Nuh district, Rohira village, Haryana with the aim of improving the living conditions of marginalized communities, and in its second phase now has spread to the villages of Naharpur and Gabanspur in Punhana.
Project VIKAAS focusses on an integrated approach of well-being, including Education, Health, Livelihoods, Empowered the locals, Water conservation and improving farm livelihoods. The initiative has touched the lives of 1500 villagers beneficiaries till date promoting;
Since 2019, Care India has been striving to bring about a change in the lives of the village locals at a time with constant support. The main focus is on creating positive changes, being educated and improving the lifestyle of people's in Rohira village through holistic rural development. The Project VIKAS team makes sure that in the course of this development and improving living conditions no harm or loss is made to the village peoples, As you seen in the picture schools and water chambers have been renovated. The team is helping the village in becoming sustainable and increasing its developmental rate without making sudden, major, uncomfortable changes that cannot be absorbed by the village people. Rather, small and slow steps are being taken keeping in mind the welfare of the local community.
On the day of the launch of Project VIKAAS, Care India commented how the Organisation is intrinsically linked to the education,health and resilience of the society. Added that the programs launch are relevant nationally and resonate with a global perspective, since Organisation have been working in this niche for about two decades. We are confident and optimistic about the upcoming better living conditions for the people of village.
The project will also take into account spreading correct information about the Covid 19 since 2020 to 2021 when the virus (COVID-19) spread out everywhere. The people's of Rohira village were not aware of the precautionary measure needed to stay safe and prevent the virus (COVID-19). This collaboration project will also shed some light on how to stay safe and protect themselves and their families.
